OJI Fibre Solutions is a long-established manufacturer and supplier of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries across New Zealand and around the world.  Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers in the primary produce, food, industrial and grocery sectors. 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Case North Island, you will be working within a dynamic manufacturing environment.  This leadership role is responsible for driving strategic and commercial decision making, site reporting and compliance activity for our Packaging Northern manufacturing site in Mangere Bridge, Auckland.

Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• 3-5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills with experience building internal stakeholder relationships.
• Highly driven with strong leadership & time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and report writing capabilities.
• Computer literate with advanced Excel & presentation skills.
• Experience with both ERP & MES systems, (SAP advantageous).
• Ability to think on your feet and solve problems.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bachelor of Commerce or similar and CA membership preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage reporting, forecasting and monitoring.  Ownership and implementation of the group strategic plan and cost reduction initiatives.
• Financial & Management Reporting – monthly, half yearly and annual accounts, business planning and strategy, budgets, profit and cash flow forecasts. Prepare variance analysis and report explanations.
• Implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
• Review & Revise Cost Rates, Audits and Review Inventory, in completion of preliminary business cases and assist with tenders.
• Capital Expenditure – support in preparation of capex proposals and financial justifications.
• Maintaining and implementing accounting standards, policies and internal controls in line with group requirements.
• Support the Commercial Manager – Case North Island and provide back up when required.
• Actively contribute to a culture of safety onsite by attending all training, reading and acting on all EHSR communications, following all safety rules and procedures.
