Business Support Administrator


We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our team at Tasman Mill.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this pivotal role provides essential administrative and office management support to the Tasman Mill Lead team, as well as to the site HR team when required.

Key Responsibilities

What any given day could involve:

  • Supporting the coordination and documentation of management meetings
  • Coordinating site training and development sessions
  • Assisting the HR and Lead teams with project planning and implementation
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Managing filing systems and maintaining adequate office supplies
  • Overseeing calendar management and scheduling for leadership
  • Preparing professional business correspondence
  • Maintaining the mill training database and managing Learning Management System (LMS) completion
  • Administering site pool car bookings and usage
  • Compiling and distributing duty rosters
  • Raising purchase orders and reconciling team expenses
  • Organising travel arrangements and catering bookings

What You Bring to the Role

  • Advanced computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • Proven office administration experience in a busy and multifaceted environment
