Control Systems Engineer
At Oji Fibre Solutions – Forest Resources (Kinleith Mill), our manufacturing operation is committed to the efficient and complete use of sustainably sourced virgin wood-fibre from renewable forestry resources. We take pride in producing world-class market kraft pulps, which are used in a wide range of boards and specialty products around the world.
About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Control Systems Engineer to join the Maintenance Team at our Kinleith Mill, located just south of the Tokoroa township. This is a permanent, full time, predominately a Monday to Friday role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide the site with Process Control and Systems technical advice
- Manage and deliver assigned process improvement projects and initiatives to achieve business goals
- Maintain strong internal and external networks to support business needs
The successful Applicant will ideally have the following attributes:
- A relevant Engineering degree / tertiary qualification is essential.
- Experience with Schneider/Foxboro (or similar) Distributed Control Systems.
- Experience with PLC’s (Preferable Rockwell Control Logix and Triconex).
- Experience in software and HMI development (Preferable Wonderware).
- High level of technical competency, project management and communication skills.
Have a working knowledge of good manufacturing practice, management of change processes, health & safety and quality awareness.
