DESPATCH PLANNER

Morning Shift 6.00am -2.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Flexibility to work weekends when required

Oji Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country.  Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

The Despatch Planner plays a vital role in meeting our customers’ deadlines by ensuring efficient and safe planning and dispatching of our trucks.   If you pride yourself on reliability, honesty and thrive on a demanding and busy role, can trouble shoot with ease, with the focus on customer service (both internal and external) then we want to speak to you!

To be successful in this role:

• You require 3+ years’ experience within Despatch Planning or a Warehouse environment. 
• A background in Manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry would be ideal.   
• Experience in Planning and building loads efficiently
• Co-ordinate a team of Fork hoist drivers to stage and load trucks, stock rotation and pallet control
• Running daily planning reports and associated administration
• Resolving queries and issues in a professional and timely manner. 
• An understanding of stock control/rotation (FIFO)
• Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Office, Excel and Kiwiplan
• Commitment to Health and Safety
