Electrician - Packaging

• Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, 1 location!
• Weekly Rotating roster between day and afternoon  
• Siemens S7 PLC experience required

 Oji Fibre Solutions, part of a rapidly expanding global manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions, requires a qualified and suitably experienced Electrician to join our corrugated packaging team in Qld. Our Yatala plant manufactures corrugated boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in implementing preventative/routine maintenance programs to achieve machine and line efficiencies and minimise downtime. You must be proactive in investigating faults and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems and processes. Previous experience working within a high speed packaging/food environment would be highly advantageous.

You must be a self-starter with:

• Min. 3 years post-trade experience in a manufacturing/packaging/FMCG environment;
• Relevant Australian Electrical Trade Qualifications and licences
• Siemens S7 PLC and automation experience highly desirable
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics;
• Working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and Lean basic tools desirable;
• Forklift and EWP licences desirable
