Environmental Off Site Coordinator


Our manufacturing operations promote the efficient and complete use of sustainably sourced virgin wood-fibre from renewable forestry resources.

About the role

Reporting to the Technical Leader for Mill Services & Quality, this role focuses on the performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of off-site water treatment operations. As the Environmental Off Site Co-ordinator, you’ll monitor environmental impacts, manage regulatory compliance, and drive improvements across treatment systems and processes.

What you will do

Utilising your environmental expertise

  • Monitor off-site water treatment performance and environmental impacts
  • Minimise environmental risk by managing wastewater discharges
  • Lead compliance audits, reporting, and regulatory monitoring
  • Drive improvements in environmental systems and processes
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental risk and compliance
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, sustainability, and accountability

Ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in environmental coordination, compliance, or wastewater systems. Confident in interpreting regulations, conducting audits, and developing best-practice systems, you’ll also bring excellent communication and leadership skills, along with a solid understanding of environmental risk management and reporting.

This role suits someone with technical expertise, a proactive approach to risk, and a genuine passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.

 You will be required to take part in the 1 in 4 weekend roster however any tasks related to this (if any) can be completed remotely.
