Facilities Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer reporting to the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our facility's mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will encompass scoping, planning, and scheduling both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, overseeing contractor performance to ensure quality and adherence to schedules, and aligning maintenance execution with broader asset management strategies. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve mechanical issues to prevent recurrence and support large-scale shutdowns and outage maintenance projects, all aimed at enhancing the reliability and performance of our operations.

About You

We are looking for a results‑focused professional with a background in large‑scale manufacturing, industrial, or power generation settings. The ideal candidate will possess a Mechanical Engineering qualification and demonstrate expertise in asset integrity and maintenance management. Proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP), MS Excel, and MS Project is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and manage complex maintenance programs effectively.
