Flexipool Field Operator
The Kinleith Production Business Unit is looking for a suitably motivated and versatile person to fill the 15-month fixed term parental leave cover role of No.2 Mill Flexipool Field Operator. The principal function of this position is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of No.2 Fibreline covering operational tasks in the plant as necessary and assisting with operator training.
While full training will be provided, preference will be given to applicants with previous experience as a No.2 Mill Field Operator or in a similar role.
This position requires working a 12-hour shift, 4 on, 4 off, roster.
Additionally this position includes the following skills and competencies:
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
- Proven computer literacy in Word & Excel data entry.
- Drivers licence Class 1
On – Job:
- Must be able to meet EHS and S&OP targets
- Exception reporting, trouble shooting and documentation
- Support shuts including plant isolations
- Competently operate the DCS, including Interpret/analyse DCS information and outputs
- Proven ability and willingness to train others.
- Proven ability to work under changing conditions. (change routine as plant issues dictate)
- Proven ability to work at height, in heat, wet and or cold conditions.
- Proactiveness in Health and safety, such as Hazard ID, Safe Behaviour Observations (SBO) and coaching of others in working safely.
- Self-motivation to learn.
- Proven ability in meeting the required housekeeping standards.
- Physical ability to work in an industrial environment (up & down stairs)
People:
- Proven ability, desire and motivation to study & train (learn all Fibreline operations & Field Op tasks)
- Proven use of problem-solving techniques. (ability to use initiative)
- Flexible and versatile approach to other Pulpmill related duties.
- Willingness to participate in additional work-related activities. (eg Health & safety initiatives, Hazard & Operability studies)
