Rotating shifts - Mon-Fri 7.00am – 3.00pm and 3.00pm – 11.00pm

Oji Fibre Solutions is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of pulp, paper and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country.  Our Paper Bag business based in Penrose, Auckland designs and produces multi-wall bags for the Dairy, Cement, Flour and Sugar industries throughout the country and into offshore markets.

We are looking for a Printer Operator to join our busy printing team.

Key responsibilities and attributes we are looking for:

• Work within our Print department, on a Flexotechnica Printer
• Computer literate, with experience in PLC controls.  The Flexotechnica press is computer controlled with electronic auxiliary systems like the BST viewing system and the viscometers
• Ability to work well within a small printing team, which is part of a larger production team
• Experience working within a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment
• Strong focus on Health & Safety work practices
• Positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Good problem solving and initiative skills
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Physically fit, ability to lift up to 20kg i.e. role involves carrying equipment and heavy reels e.g.  Anilox rollers, ink buckets and print sleeves
• Must be available to work weekly rotating morning and afternoon shifts
• Flexible attitude and ability to do overtime when required
• Reliable transport to work
• Must pass a colour blindness test which is part of the medical
