About the role

Reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager, this hands-on role ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems. You’ll scope and lead maintenance work, manage contractor performance, resolve plant issues, and contribute to long-term asset strategy. This is a critical role for someone who thrives on collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical problem-solving.

Kinleith Mill is known as an ‘engineer’s playground’—an ideal environment to put your engineering degree to work. You’ll apply your expertise across process control systems, distributed control systems, PLCs, AC/DC drives, instrumentation, process measurements, and power distribution within a complex, continuous manufacturing setting.

  • Plan and manage contractor work, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance
  • Develop and optimise preventative/predictive maintenance plans, shutdowns, and asset strategies
  • Analyse performance data, lead root cause investigations, and maintain accurate records (SAP, BOMs)

In addition, you’ll bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach. Your ability to communicate clearly, coordinate contractors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential. A strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and passion for technical problem-solving will ensure your success in this role.  Experience with High Voltage systems would be an advantage.
