Management Accountant

Oji Fibre Solutions (OjiFS) is a significant pulp, paper and fibre-based packaging manufacturer in New Zealand.  Fullcircle is the business unit that supplies recyclable fibre to our Kinleith Mill and international customers, completing the supply chain and underpinning many New Zealand business’s ability to recycle sustainably.

Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a committed and results-driven individual for the role of Management Accountant to work in our small inclusive Finance team at Fullcircle, located in Penrose Auckland. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, ideally the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and results focus to achieve set deadlines, week in week out.  Excellent ability to communicate at all levels in an organisation are essential in this role. In addition, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure are the key personal attributes we are looking for.  

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial information
• Manage accounting tasks including the month end process, accruals, fixed, assets, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and reporting
• To perform other accounting tasks where required
  

This position requires the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor / Diploma of Business Accounting, or
• Proven management and financial accounting, and proven ability using financial systems
• Exposure to tax calculations including FBT, GST, deferred tax
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Used ERP Accounting systems, such as SAP (desirable)
• Familiar with Salesforce (desirable)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
