Afternoon Shift:  Monday to Friday 2.20pm – 10.30pm flexibility required during peak season

Oji Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country.  Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, this senior leadership role is an integral part of the business and is all about people leadership and driving continuous improvement.  Your experience in transforming behaviour by driving positive change will be highly regarded, as will exposure to a fast paced, high-volume production/manufacturing environment (Ideally Packaging or FMCG).  Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is dynamic and thrives on the challenge of improving team performance, whilst challenging the status quo to improve overall production and quality.

• A passion for health and safety
• Extensive leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment, including recruiting and developing new team members.
• Ability to transform team results through coaching/mentoring
• Focus on continuous improvement through 5S, Lean and Six Sigma programmes
• NZCE/Trade qualification desirable
• Energetic Proactive Go-Getter with proven problem-solving skills
• Passionate about quality and productivity
• Customer focussed and goal orientated
• Mechanically minded and comfortable to get stuck in and work alongside your team, lead by example and get things done
