Site/Production Manager - Bundaberg

Based in regional Southeast Queensland, the exciting role provides you the opportunity to work for a fast-growing organisation that has worldwide paper and packaging operations. You will get to roll your sleeves up and have full autonomy over the site operations, which will include liaising with customers daily, managing the operations of box assembly machinery, line-haul and local freight management, planning of the warehouse operations, driving health and safety initiatives and everything else in between! Perhaps you’re an experienced operations manager or someone who is looking to take the next career step.

 Candidates with the following desirable requirements are encouraged to apply:

• Hands on experience in leading and overseeing a production/distribution, production planning, engineering, warehousing and distribution, customer service, quality and safety to deliver on operational targets and strategic objectives.
• Mechanical aptitude with a focus on automated box assembly machinery.
• A background in horticulture/agriculture environments such as packing sheds or box erecting depots.
• Experience in forecasting and reporting on key metrics to ensure the site operates within budget.
• Experience in implementing and driving continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and food safety.
• A current forklift license and experience in high volume forklift operations.
