We are seeking a talented and energetic Stores person to join the Stores Team at our Kinleith Mill, just south of Tokoroa. This is a temp (2 month), full time, Monday to Friday role and requiring shift work during the June Annual shut (including weekends)

Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will work as part of a team, ensuring all mechanical parts and other goods are moved efficiently and effectively inside & outside the stores area, along with the accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and correct storage of items

Requirements of the role:

• Process incoming goods – unpacking, storage, distribution and receipt;

• Attend counter enquiries’ and issue materials (dispatches) as requested;

• Maintain accurate physical inventory in line with electronic/ERP system records;

• Ensure quantity and quality of receipts/dispatches of products and services are in accordance with Oji Fibre Solutions/Customer requirements;

• Deliver goods within the Kinleith Mill Facility as required, or offsite if requested;

• Assist with implementation of continuous improvement activities and projects;

• Adherence to all Oji Fibre Solutions Policies and Procedures;

• Strong focus on Health and Safety compliance;

• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained in accordance with OjiFS standards.

 Experience/Skills for the role:

• Experience in Inventory, Warehousing or Logistics roles in a maintenance and/or manufacturing environment;

• Experience with receipting and dispatching using an ERP system

• Current F forklift licence, preferred

• A Dangerous goods & gantry licence up to 10T loading preferred

 People Skills:

• Positive attitude with a strong Customer focus;

• Ability to work in a team environment;

• Demonstrate effective communication at all levels of the business – written and spoken;

• Proven organisational abilities;

• Proven use of problem-solving techniques, ability to use initiative;

• Willingness to participate in additional work-related activities as required.
